BENDER 1937 to recent A Danish model which has a distinct 'Steib' appearance. A few were imported into Britain. They were made by Bender Sidevognsfabrik near Copenhagen. The name 'Bender' is engraved on the hubcap.

NIMBUS c 1920-1950's Denmark Fischer and Nielsen Ltd of Copenhagen were pioneers of four cylinder motorcycies and pressed steel frames. Their combinations were used ifl sidecar road racing ifl the 1920's. From 1934 - 1950 they produced five sidecar models used by the Army, Police and Post Office~ In World War Two the combinations wereused by the Danish Army with machine guns or ambulance or personnel carrying bodies.
